About Emily Logsdon
Meet Emily
Associate Therapist (she/her)
I became a therapist, because I am passionate about helping people see their true potential and worth. Empowering others to advocate for their own needs, love and accept themselves, and believe in their own capabilities is something that I find so important in my work as a therapist.
Often times clients come to me feeling unsure about how to regulate their emotions or manage high levels of distress. I teach them skills to do this and provide a safe space to explore why this has felt so challenging.
Some therapeutic modalities I utilize are:
Psychodynamic Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness Focused Therapy
My specialties are:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
DBT skills training for all and specifically
borderline personality disorder
