Therapy with Kristen Quinones, LCSW
Where AuthentiCity is your path to healing
Meet Kristen Quinones, LCSW
Kristen Quinones is a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of NY City Psychotherapy. She created this practice with a focus on helping New Yorkers strengthen their mental health by reconnecting with a more grounded, authentic sense of self.
She believes that healing happens when you begin to understand yourself more deeply, reduce the weight of anxiety, and build a stronger sense of inner alignment. Therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and feel more connected to who you are beneath the anxiety. Sessions have a soulful approach to healing and aim to empower you build a life that truly resonates.
All sessions are offered virtually on a HIPAA-compliant platform to teens (17+) and adults in New York. Kristen has over twelve years of experience supporting clients in anxiety recovery, with a focus on Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and OCD. Her approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), tailored to each person’s individual needs.
Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice while also supporting a deeper mind–body awareness. This allows clients to not only learn effective tools for managing anxiety, but also to develop greater self-trust, emotional regulation, and internal clarity.
Many of the people Kristen works with are highly self-aware, sensitive, and thoughtful, yet often feel overwhelmed by overthinking, self-doubt, or disconnection from themselves. Therapy provides a space to understand these patterns and begin shifting them in a supportive, structured way.
Choosing a therapist is an important step, and it’s essential to find someone whose approach feels like a good fit for you.
If Kristen’s approach resonates with you, you are welcome to schedule a free phone consultation. Support is provided throughout the process, including scheduling, billing questions, insurance reimbursement guidance, and referrals if needed.
